Our Story

Hi! I'm Megan - mom of 3 and the creator of Collecting Joy. After stepping away from my 20-year corporate career with a leading retailer, I wanted to build something that felt truly "me." So I combined what I know about great products with what I've learned as a busy mom trying to raise kind, motivated kids - and I realized how helpful simple, easy-to-use reward tools can be for families. Collecting Joy was created to share what I've learned (often the hard way!) to help make things easier for others.

Here's a little bit about our family story:

We have spent time over the years seeking professional guidance to understand why everyday tasks felt so overwhelming for our children. Through their advice, we quickly learned firsthand how powerful encouragement and positive reinforcement can be. At the same time, we also learned how time-consuming it can be to create and manage a reward system that actually works.
